Why is everyone so obsessed with Kylie Jenner when theres Sarah Hyland? Like she does a brown lip too? I don't get it....  Sarah always wears a pretty smokey eye with a brownish matte lip. She goes from grey smokey eyes to brown and is always very luminous! Her skin always looks amazing and has the most perfect glow. Keep reading on to find out more about this beaut and how to recreate it! AND BEWARE OF THE BROWS! Hahahhaha we filled them in to be thick like hers and they look a bit much but I promise by the end it looks perfect!

So first we did our foundation/contour routine which you can find here and highlighted with Nars Albatross. Then filled in her brows hehe.  Then I took my Lorac Pro 2 Palette and took Cool Grey on a crease brush and focused it in windshield wipers into her crease. Then with a bigger brush blended it all out. Then we took Chrome and patted it onto the lid.

After that, we took, cool gray and focused this on the lower lash line to smoke it out a bit. Make sure to blend this as well! Then took Snow on her inner corners and right on the brow bone to lighten things up a bit! To finish, on her lips we used Wet and Wilds 'Bare it All'. I liked this color, its not turning up as brown as it was on camera. But for more of a brown lip, I would choose 'Gingerly' by Mac.

Get The Look: Sarah Hyland Pt 2

I'm back today again with Kyla with our Sarah Hyland Get the Look series! If you didn't see our first posts, look here! Today, we are recreating her Emmys look ahhhhhh. TO DIE FOR. Sorry to anyone this might offend but I feel like this really put Sarah on the map of the celebs to watch. She looked so effortless, but, so chic. I fell in love instantly. Sooo today I am going to be replicating her bun while Kyla will be doing her outfit!

First, take all of our hair on the top of your head and put it in a pony. Tease that entire pony.
Nowwwwwwww, I have a little cheat sheet. Take either a sock or one of these bad boys and put your hair into the hole.
Now starting in the front, bring all the hair forward and then wrap all the hair around the donut/sock.
Secure the ends with a bobby pin under the bun.
Take your hand with your fingers spread open into the front to loosen up the bun, to make it more messy.
AND thats it.
Literally.
Im not lying.

Easy peasy lemon squeaky. A chic bun in like two seconds. Thats my favorite kinda bun. Go try this out on yourself! I bet you can do it in two minutes. I dare you! Now go check out Kylas outfit! I am soooooooo obsessed with this! Tell me you don't love this. I feel like it would be perfect for the holidays-- that red skirt? Ughh!

Photography as always by the lovely Sarah Bedzyk!

Sarah Hyland: GET THE LOOK Pt. 1

sarah, hyland, outfit, hair, get, the, look,

Guess who's back, back, back, back again, gain, gain. IM BACK TODAY WITH ANOTHER GET THE LOOK SERIES! Hehee. These are my favorite! But, today with another blogger... Two times the fun! Now, me and Kyla over at Ky Marie C are recreating Sarah Hylands amazing style. Kyla is from New England and she has the cuteessst blog all about fashion, beauty & life in general! Lets just say, if you like my blog, you'll LOVE HER-- Go check her out! Sarah Hyland is the cutestttt little thing and her fashion sense is BOMB. I will be doing Sarahs hair/makeup for the next few days while, Kyla will be recreating some of her signature outfits! You don't want to miss this guys...... For the first post, I am going to be recreating Sarahs fishtailllllllllllll. Thank you so much Gabi for the heeeelp!!

sarah, hyland, outfit, hair, get, the, look,

Can we please talk about how effortless this is? I would rock this anyday, anytime, anyplace. This hairstyle is perfect for loungin' around running some errands OR perfect for a fancier event like Sarah did and the best thing is it takes two seconds.

First, I would start out with second day curled hair (this helps with texture) or you can curl it with a wand then start.

Sarah has crazy thick hair, so to replicate that start of with a volumizing mousse or give it a little tease.
|| Take all of your hair to one side and separate it like you would a braid but with two sections.
Then take the outermost piece of one section and cross it over, combining it to the other section.
Keep repeating this step all the way down. Going from one section to the other, making sure you keep it very tight!
Once you get to the bottom keeping about 4 inches out secure it with a clear elastic.
Now to the fun part- to make it more messy start pulling the braid strands out a little on each side.
Also, pull out the pieces around your face and if necessary, recurl them.
I didn't do this step- but-- if you want her exact look, take a piece of the bottom hair thats out of the braid and wrap it around the elastic and tuck it in. This way the elastic won't be noticeable!
AND VOILA! You're done! A simple easy hairstyle you can do anytime. Easy as that:)

Now go over and check out Kylas post all about Sarahs outfit! Comment on her page telling her I sent ya:)

Photography as always by the lovely Sarah Bedzyk!

A Secret for Blondes-- Shh!

Got a secret can I keep it, swear this one you say, got a locket in my pocket taking this one to the graveeee hehehehehe.
Okay, I don't really know if those are even are the words. But, I couldn't resist. I have a blonde secret and its coming out of the closet. Okay okay okay its not really that big of a secret. The weird thing is, its not a secret at all.... Most blondes just have no idea about my little babe. Actually, most blondes don't even know the difference between blondes which is my biggest pet peeve in the entire world. Am I confusing you yet? Lets back up.....

There once was a thing called blondes. There were many different types of blondes in the forest. But the yellow, brassy blondes were the ones who lived in the straw houses. Ashy, cool blondes lived in the brick houses (per me) because they were the best and of course they would live in the coolest housed away from the bad wolf. The big bad wolf in blondes cases are hard water, the sun, and peroxide. Anytime a dark haired person goes light 9/10 times, the underlying pigment is going to be orange. Which sucks but toning your hair gets rid of that..... For a while. In my case like 2 washes. Not kidding. Then, its back to brassy old Em lookin like a trash bag. UNTIL I FIGURED OUT PURPLE SHAMPOO..... One of my favorite bloggers The Beauty Department also wrote about purple shampoos here! Its an awesome post-- check it out! But, they show the difference amazzzzzingly.

purple, shampoo, purpleshampoo, before, after, brassy, blonde, ashy, hair, amazing, love, beauty, sallys,

Do you see the difference?! Purple shampoo is a shampoo (duh emily) that brightens blondes and keeps them from the Bad Wolf. Ive tried looooads of them and yeah some of them work but nothing like Shimmer Lights. AND GOOD NEWS ITS CHEAP! You can get it at Sallys I think for like $8. Steal! You use it once a week and let me tell you, my hair every time I use this looks like a million bucks. The purple in the shampoo is across in the color wheel from orange so it BITES IT RIGHT IN THE BEHIND! Just remember art class in first grade. This is science guys..

I know this was the longest post known to man and I am really sorry. But blondes, have you ever tried purple shampoo? Whats your favorite? Seriously tho, get your hands on this. Your hair will thank you and so will I. Together, we can kick this brass epidemic goodbye and finally put an end to THE BIG BAD WOLF..

Secret to Fixing Your Dry Hair!

Even if I'm a hairdresser, I have hair issues too.
I know, who woulda thought right? But honestly. Ever since I went blonde and was a little brat about it and wanted to lighten my hair 6 times in one week even though I knew the consequences-- my hair is judging me hardcore. I have tried EVERYTHING to get my hair back to normal. Deep conditioners on deep conditioners on deep conditioners. Nothings helped. All the deep conditioner actually gave me product build up like noooooo tomorrow. So my hair just felt gunky like I had gel and conditioner left in my hair then straightened it. EW. So on a random Sunday I tried this Pinterest bologna as a DIY Clarifying Shampoo because I didn't have any on hand and that made my hair so much worse. I couldnt even blowdry it. It felt like mash potatoes. So thats my life story and fail of the month. Ive dealt with the crappiest, grossest, deadest (ya thats not a word) hair ever.

UNTIL TWO DAYS AGO....
dun dun dun dun.

I got these bad boys.
They literally are a godsend.

Per the Matrix website:
Formulated with Arginine and Soy, Biolage Advanced repairinside Shampoo cleanses and conditions severely damaged hair to help restore suppleness and shine.

•Gently cleanses

•Repairs damage
•Restores suppleness and shine
Yahhhhhh it does! I'm not kidding when I say if you have damaged hair and thought "Oh I just need to cut my hair I have no other choice". You're wrong. Go buy this. NOW. I don't know what to tell you except its amazing. My hair feels so soft. I can actually run my fingers through it (before I couldn't to many tanglez) It feels normal. My little cousin even noticed and she's 10...
Honestly, if you suffer with dry hair, take my word. Go buy this shizzzz. It will change your life..
Whats your favorite dry hair remedy? Does anything help you?! Let me know in the comments-- Talk to you soon:)

DIY VAMPIRE TUTORIAL!

HIIIIIIIIIIII everyone!
Guess what time of year it is??!?!? Halloweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen!
If you have been following my blog for a while you would already know that a) I love fall and b) I love the Vampire Diaries. I have a huge addiction and I love Stefan so if you're team Damon-- byeeeeeeee! Hahah jk but really Stefan for the win. With Halloween right around the corner and the Vampire Diaries season premiere starting last week, I want to be a Vampire I decided... Or Daria. Or Poison Ivy. Im not sure yet. So I thought while I'm struggling to decide I would show all of you different options! For real tho, on a serious note, I dream I'm a vampire sometimes. Not kidding. I think I was one in a past life and doing this makeup just came so natural to me. I swear I'm not nuts. Its just super easy hahah.

With this look since the eyes are so dark, lets start on the them! Well do the face lata...
Prime your eyes! Then, I took a NYX Jumbo Liner in Dark Purple and covered the lid to start with a nice base. Then took my Lorac Pro Palette 2 and took the color Cool Gray in her crease and buffed it right out. Making sure that the Purple base and the Gray are all blended. Afterwards I took Black and patted that right onto the lid, then blended it all out again.

I didn't take pics of the face because I thought it was self explanatory but, I took my lightest foundation you know me I own a million cause I am a vamp in the winter, and applied it all over my face and neck. Then took a white face cream from the halloween store and blended that in. I used a translucent powder and patted it all over the skin for a matte look. Then took Cool Gray (from the Lorac Pro2) and used that to contour. Find out how to do that here!

For the veins under the eyes, I took a black liquid liner and started making little baby lines with other lines sprouting from the base. You can use a red cream from the Halloween store or I used a matte red lip stain and with a brush applied it right on top of the liner. To finish that up I blended the colors, Plum, Navy, and Black (again from my Pro2) and made the lines not to stark. Lined my top and bottom waterline with a Black liner and used mascara! Or, apply some fake lashes like we did! Then take the Black and Navy and with a pencil brush blend it right under the waterline to make the look really smoky!

The lips are my favvvorrrittteee part! I took Cyber from Mac and put it on the outer edges, then took Russian Red on the inside to make it look like bloody. Then I used Night Moth liner (from Mac) and blended both the colors together. Took Cyber again and patted it right in the middle again to blend. Lastly, took Black and put it right on the corners again, to make you look realllllll dead.

Then, take some blood and put it everywhere. Literally, wherever you want. We put it on the sides of the mouths and right on the inside of the lip where we put the Russian Red to make it look like she just got done feeding! And then slapped it everywhere else!

PLS CAN WE PLS PLS PLS TALK ABOUT HOW SICK THIS IS.
THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME DOING IT AND I AM IN LOVE.
DEAD.
BECAUSE I WANT TO DO THIS EVERYDAY. JK.
BUT I DO. IF PEOPLE WOULDNT STARE AT ME & THINK I WAS CRAZY.

-First get a cotton ball. Take a piece of it and start rolling it into a circle.
-Then put eyelash glue on your neck with two dots.
-Put the two circles of cotton onto the dots.
-Wait for it to dry.
-Then take some liquid latex (you can get this at the Halloween store for like $3) and apply it all over the cotton. Wait for it to dry again. After it drys start molding it. Take some tweezers and pronounce the middle of the circle and push the sides down so they are no harsh lines from the skin to the circle of cotton.
-Take your foundation and blend it alllll over. And take Cool Grey, Plum and Navy again and just start putting it all around to make it look nasty. Then take your bronzer with a blush brush and just blend that all out.
-Use liquid liner and put it right inside the circle to make it look dark and endless. (Apparently Cass liked this part hahahahah)
-Using that red cream or stain like I used start patting that inside the dark and just all around.
-MY FAVORITE PART TAKE THE FAKE BLOOD AND PLAY!

and vavooom you look like Stefan just bit you. Or Damon. Or whatever you're into.

So what did you all think?!?! Are you gonna be a vamp?!?!

No Heat For The Week-- For my Curl Gurrrrrlz #noheatsummer

Hi Guys! Im back with my #noheatsummer series but this time for my Curl Gurlz!
So you might have read my No Heat for the Week, but I got some complaints that you can't do those styles with curly hair. But I DIGRESS! (sp?) All of those styles would be great on curly hair.. Maybe even better to be honest. I feel like all boring pony tails just look so amazing with curls. It could be just because 'you always want what you don't have'. But, I am alllllllll about curly hair. Ok, lets get real I'm just ALLLLLL about any hair. Either way tho, curls rock.

So since I said, I am not a braider.. I thought I would go out of my comfort zone and try somethin' new. I am human. I do stink at things--- Actually stink at a lot of things. But, I'm tryin!

First, this is just a simple 'do. It kinda reminds me of Arianna Grande. I think this is perfect for curly hair girls because the front pieces are always crazy. This is a great way to get them out of your face for the day! I parted the hair, then took about an inch and a half on each side, combed it back and secured it with a tiny elastic under the hair. Its hidden and none knows its even there. And your hair isn't in your face. WIIIIN!

Next is this Dutch Braid. This is so simple its not even funny. I first parted the hair in the middle into two pigtails and started braiding each side. Then, I brought one pony over the top of the head to the opposite ear and secured with bobby pins and did the same to the opposite side. To make the look not look so put together, I pulled out pieces of the braid to make the braid bigger and pulled pieces out around the face. Saaaaa cute, I can't get enuf.

The 3rd style is a regular pony. We put it right on top of the head secured with a ponytail. Then took a piece of the pony wrapped it around the base and bobby pinned it down. Then pulled the top of the pony to make it bigger. Again, take pieces out around your face and BAM a cute pony:)

This might look like an average top knot. BUT ITS NOT! Duh, duh, duh, duhhhhhhhh! First, we took the same steps as the before style and brought all of the hair to the top of the head and secured with a ponytail. Then, we started braiding the pony. Twist it around the base, secure it with another pony. To finish it off pull on pieces of the braid to make it look a little messier/bigger and pieces around your face! Now you're differeeeeent.

The last style is supppperrrr easy. Just start braiding your hair where the thickest side of your part is then bring it over to the other side of your head and pin it. Hide the pin with hair! Again, this is great to get the hair out of your face for the day!

#noheatsummer Tips and Tricks to rock what the good lord gave ya!

A lot of people have been thinking I am nuts with this #noheatsummer stunt.
I keep getting, "I could never just walk outside with my natural hair." or "You don't understand I have crazy hair." I even had a girl tell me that she straightens her hair 3 times a day! That is nuts! I honestly get it girls. All you need is to embrace it and you will learn how to rock your natural hair. Think of it as when you learned how to straighten your hair. I know all you of you didn't wake up one morning and learned how to curl and straighten your hair perfect. In middle school, I thought it was ok just to straighten the top of my hair. Then the bottom was all kinky. I thought none would notice... They did... My sisters used to straighten their hair on an ironing board. With an iron. Not kidding. I remember it was probably high school and I finally learned how to section my hair when I straightened it, then I got the 'Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum' and my straightened hair looked boss... I know all of you went threw this. You just have to give it time and learn what works with your hair. Not all hair is the same I know that! I wish I could honestly go to every single readers house and be like, "Hey, you use this" or "NO do not touch that to your hair!!" Hahah. But unfortunately, that isn't realistic. So imma write a blogpost;)

-Do not mess with your hair. I know this seems inevitable but don't touch it. The more you touch it the more frizzy it gets.

-Keep a wide toothed comb in the shower. Once you have conditioner on, comb it. Then rinse it out. This will help like I said in the previous post, to not touch it or mess with it!

-Towels can be too rough. Take an old t shirt and dry your hair with it. This will help with frizz and my curly girls to help preserve ya curl!

-Embrace the messiness. Messy hair is the best hair. Use a sea salt spray. That will make your hair smell and look like you just got back from the beach. I have a post about it here! If you aren't about that DIY life, I really love Lushs Sea Salt Spray. Its amazzzin.

-DO NOT PUT THAT HARD CRUSTY GEL ON YOUR HEAD. Scrunching is out. So stop doing it. Never use a 'Hard' gel with hairspray and think your hair is going to look good. Its not. It could take someone out tho if you whipped your head around. For my curl girls, use a cream curling gel. This will make your curls more soft.

-What I do sometimes is after I put product in it while its still wet, I twist pieces of my hair and let it be till its dry. Then, finger comb it. Most of the time you don't even have to finger comb it, the hair will just fall. But, this helps for my straighter hair girls for a little bit a sum thin'.

-Use a leave in conditioner on your ends, or an oil. A lot of time when I let my natural hair run free it looks dry. So to help with that, give it some moisture! This will help with frizz as well!

If you want to read up more on frizz and products that actually work check out this posts herehere and here. All of these posts will help you so check it outttt!

But honestly, practice makes perfect. Only you know your hair. You have to do it everyday. So just play around! See what works for you!

#noheatsummer No Heat for the Week

DISCLAIMER: If you haven't read my last post go check that out now!

As you may, or may not have read I am doing a No Heat Challenge for zee Summaaa 8)
That means no straighteners, no blowdryers, curlers nothin'. But honestly, who has the patience for that bologna in the hot weather?! Not me... So, lets keep cool and help our hair out for a bit.
Win, win ;)

While on this journey, I thought we could do some No Heat Tutorials.
Now, I know braids are all summers about. But, I'm so sorry. I am the worst braider god put on this planet. Its not my fault. I blame it on genetics. So, I'm not going to pretend I'm a pro at braids and fishtails and all those intricate things and just do some basic things you can do at home. I'll practice and report back to you though, I promise!

Day 1, A bangin' top knot. Because who doesn't love a good top knot? I have a tutorial on this hairstyle. It is the perfect lazy day but I still want to be put together look depending on how messy you make it. If you have read at least two of my blogposts you probably already know I don't like to get up in the morning so I like the most minimal effort styles. I wish I had hair again just looking at this picture is making me tear up a bit. Kidding not kidding.

Day 2! Just a cute classic twist--- Ya can't go wrong with that. Part your hair on the side. Then, whatever side has less hair start twisting all the way back and secure with a bobby pin. Then move the hair to hide any pokin out bobbies.

Day 3! For this style, I teased the root of her hair then brought a little less than half of the hair up in a pony. We secured it with a clip but you could with a bobby pin as well! This is awesome for summer because I don't know about you but it is to hot for all that hair in your face.

Day 4--- a turban! I looooooooove turbans. Especially for summer! I feel like it just makes everything look like you are so hip and you ain't even tryin. And like I said before it keeps the hair out of your face which is bomb.

Day 5- a low bun! I kept the same part then brought it all behind the ear you have less hair on. Then, took my finger in front of the pony and wrapped it around my finger and secured it with a ponytail and pulled out some random pieces to make it look not so put together. I also took some pieces out around her face to complete the style.

Day 6!  A classic pony with a twist. This is  just effortless and perfect for those hot days in the sun. I used a middle part this time and put the hair into a pony. I took a piece inside the pony, wrapped it around the ponys base then secured it with a bobby pin. I pumped up the pony by grabbing two pieces and pulling and started pulling random pieces at the crown of the head and out completely around the face. Easy peasy.

Last but not least, day 7. For this braided headband, take a piece of hair an inch thick behind your ear on each side and braid and secure with an elastic. Then, take one of the braids and pull it across your crown to your opposite ear and bobby pin it in place. Afterwards, take the other one and do the same hiding the other bobby pin and BAM you're done:)

How easy are all of these for Summer? I understand, they are pretty simple but just some ideas to help ya out with this challenge! Look out for some DIY hair masks soon! Hashtag #noheatsummerchallenge with your No Heat Looks! Maybe you all can help me braid hehehehe.
p.s I just went back and read over the title: No Heat for the Week. Thats funny. Am I the only one that thinks so? Hope not. Ok, Im done rambling. BYE:)

#noheatsummer

The number one most asked question I get is 'How do I get my hair to grow?'
Well ladies, as much as I would love to be a magician (I think its better for man kind that) I am not. There is no magical way for your hair to grow. Every person is different. All hair grows at different rates. But, the one thing that is always true for long locks is in order for your hair to grow, you have to take good care of it. End of story.
I know you probably are like no way thats not true, but it is.
If you have unhealthy hair and split ends, your hair sure can get long, but it will just keep splitting.
Over the years, heat has been a huge issue with damaged hair..... You girls straightening your hair everyday aren't doing your hair any favors. I know you may think, I could never just jump out of the shower and have perfect hair.. But, you can.

To keep your hair healthy, and help it grow and since Summer is the perfect time I came up with a little game we could all play...........
I bet you, you can not go all summer without using any heat products.
That means, no straighteners, no blow dryers, no curling irons. Just let your natural hair breathe for a bit and your hair will grow. All of July and August until September 1, vow to take good care of your hair & during these months, I will show you different styles to use without heat, what products to help enhance your out of the shower locks, and some DIY masks to help with the summer heat!
I will be helping you find out that natural hair is cool too! Your hair will thank you;)

So day 1!
Starting tomorrow...
NO HEAT!
Who's with me?!?!?
Use the hashtag #noheatsummer !! Show me your natural locks! I would love to see 8)

TREND ALERT! SHOULDER LENGTH HAIR!

Guess what ladies?? You don't have to be hot, luggin' your long tresses around all summer! Shoulder length hair is in-- and so fun. All the celebs are doing it. They are ditching their long hair (or extensions) and going for this short, sassy, texturized cut! I know, I know, I used to be (still am even though I have a pixie) obsessed with never cutting my hair too. You get attached, I promise I get it. But, now is the best time to do it. By cutting your dead ends and starting fresh your giving your hair a new start to be healthy. Another great plus-- this cut goes hand in hand with Spring and Summer. Easy, effortless and just get up and go. Ya know, my fave. The years of the straighteners and curling irons are gone. Natural is in! Am I the only one who thinks the worst thing in the whole world in the heat is blowdrying my hair? UGH! The best way to style this cut is with damp hair, spray some sea salt spray (see how to make some here), scrunch and let air dry or diffuse and you are good to go! No fuss hair which is the best hair-- and damage free! What isn't great about this trend?!? If Kim Kardashian can ditch her extensions believe me, you can too!

First Beyonce did it. If she did something all the girls in the universe mine as well do it because Beyonce is god. She's always rocking the latest trends and I loveeee this blonde lob on her!

Taylor did it! But, in her own classy way! And I LOVE everything about this! Taylor and her long hair are NEVER getting back together! (Lets hope)

Leighton Meester cut her tresses......... NO WAY! This Gossip Girl really looks amaaaaazing. It looks so soft on her which is the best part and love the lighter color! Perfect for Spring!

Jessica Alba instagramed this pic of her new hairs! This is one of my favorite! My favorite part about it is its effortless which is awesome on Jessica. Its very youthful!

Last but definitely not least, my favorite.. Kylie Jenner! She rocked it!! I'm dying. Praise the new Kylie. She definitely stepped out of her sisters shadows with this one. She's now on the map!

Let me know which ones your favorite? Would you make the cut? Comment Below!!

Music Festival Outfit & Hair ♥

Since its FINALLY Spring (although it is snowing here in upstate NY) what says Spring and Summer more than concerts!? Music Festivals are so fun and are the perfect opportunity for crazy makeup and funky hair. For your outfit you better make sure its practical but also, cute! Summer concerts, like Coachella, are always crowded and usually sooo hot. But, I'm not complaining! My senior year I went to one on black top and it was scorching all day like sooooo hot. Then, started hailing. I love mother nature. So like I said its always very smart to be practical with your clothing and hair!

So with her hair what I did is really embraced her natural waves she had going on. Which anyone can do. I lovvvve just going with the hairs texture. 9/10 if you know how to work with it, it will look soooo much better than a flat iron could do anyway! I parted her hair in the middle then, I put some anti-frizz creme, I used Redkens Real Control Creme Care. Its always good to use a creme vs a spray just so it doesn't get that scrunchy feeling. You want to mimic the hairs natural state as much as possible. After I did that, I diffused it on the cold setting until it was about 75% dry, then let it air dry the rest of the way. Just like that perfect hair! To enhance the waves and let them look more put together I took a curling iron and wrapped the pieces around her face around the barrel away from her face. Put on a headband and you're ready to go! I think this is a perfect festival hair because if its hot, you don't have to mess around with this to make it look good. Just let it be. You don't have to fuss around with it because it aint goin' nowhere! But, you still look stylish and carefree. (Damage free too, because who doesn't love that?!)

For her outfit, most of it was just hand-me-downs from my friends, parents closets! Salvo is where its at right now. You can always find awesome finds there for my on the budget girls.. But, I found some weirdly close pieces online as well. I think this is easy for a festival because if you get hot, the look is lately just tying it around your waist. Its there if you need it!

Get the Look: Kim K Pony!

As you all know, I am obsessed with the Kardashians.
Love them or hate them you hate to admit they have amaaazeballs hair and makeup.
ALL THE TIME.
How you may ask? Ok, I lied. There is no secret to them having awesome hair at all times except that they pay people millions to come help them every morning. Hey, I would look that great everyday too.
Once I heard Paris Hilton sleeps while getting her makeup done in the morning.
THE THINGS I WOULD DO TO BE ABLE TO SLEEP WHILE GETTING MY MAKEUP DONE!
That really is the exact definition of Beauty Sleep. Lucky sons of guns. But, as the celebs have people to do this for them, I can help you do it at home! Its so effortless and its perfect for any occasion.

First, tease a mohawk section of your hair.
Then, hairspray your comb and start brushing the sides of your hair back very slick into a pony. To make sure it gets as slick as possible run your hand over it with pressure after you comb.
OR keep your hand with pressure and use a blowdryer to set it with high heat.
Put your hair into a high pony & keep a piece out so you can wrap it around the base to hide the ponytail holder.
Then, fluff the pony by pulling the top and bottom. If you would like more volume tease the pony at this point.
Lastly take your hands as shown in the picture and just comb your fingers into the mohawk poof you made and just separate it making it look not so perfect. Take little pieces and hairspray them to make it look more piecey.

Easy, peasy, lemon squeazy.

Let me know how it works for you! Tag me in your instagram posts! @flowersinemilyshair :)
