Baby+ 12 Week Update

Hi everyone! If you didn't know already from my Facebook or Insta.... I am expecting! I am so crazy nervous and have sooooo much going on right now, but, it is such a blessing. I was going to wait a little longer to announce it but, I have such a big mouth and I could NOT blog about it. Pregnancy blogs are my favorite to read.. Even when I wasn't pregnant. Haha! They are just so interesting to me, so, I couldn't wait to get started!

A little background on me-- I have endometriosis so, although I never really tried, I was always SO nervous about not being able to get pregnant. It was my BIGGEST fear. I know alot of you other endo girls are right there with me. Tons of endometriosis girls get pregnant all the time but, its just a thought in my mind I never could. Until one day here I am! My pregnancy has actually been pretty easy so far, symptom wise. I feel pretty blessed. Although eating has been really hard for me and just being plain old tired was a pain. But, no morning sickness or anything! I was having a TON of joint pain for a while now, to the point where I couldn't get up in the morning because my hips or knee or shoulder would hurt reallllll bad. My OB kept telling me it was just pregnancy but I knew something else was going on. I was SO SO SO SO tired and my whole body felt like I just did the best workout of my life but two days later. Yea, that feeling. I just knew something wasn't right. So, I had some blood work done and low in behold I have Lyme Disease. It was really scary to find out and honestly still creepin' me out but, I still have to wait to see a specialist. So until then, I am trying to just not think much about it. I'm the type of person even if I don't know any facts, I will just think about the worst possible scenarios. Just me? But now, being on antibiotics and trying to force myself to eat, I am feeling pretty good. Thank the lord! I am going to try to do these updates every few weeks so I hope you guys follow me along this crazy journey 8)

How far along?  12 weeks!

Total weight gain/measurements: I have actually lost about 9 or so. I started out at 117 and I weighed myself today and now I am around 108ish. First trimester has been a DOOZY and I just got over the stomach bug. I am sure I'll start packin the weight on in no time!

Maternity clothes: Nope.

Stretch marks: Again, thank the lord, none yet!

Sleep: Uncomfortable at night. I think between pregnancy and Lyme my body doesn't like me lately and does not like me to be comfortable! I wake up literally every few hours and around 4 my bodies like ok, lets watch George Lopez and I WANT TO SLEEP!

Best moment this week: Prob seeing my nephew and nieces on Halloween! My one niece was Audrey Hepburn, haha. SO cute. I have an appointment Wednesday at the OB so I'm pretty excited to hear the heartbeat.

Miss anything? I miss being a normal human and not being so emotional.

Movement: Nope!

Food cravings: Ummmmm salsa. Def salsa. And fruit dip. If that isn't the two most opposite things in the world. The first few weeks I could not eat ANYTHING and now all I want is everything. All the foods. I'm not judgmental. Give them all to me. Now.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Different smells definitely. A lot of times any smell of food or someone cooking makes me sick.

Gender: I have no ideer!

Labour signs: Nope.

Symptoms: I don't think so. None that I can think of lately. I guess just being tired a lot and my body being sore. But again, between Lyme and pregnancy I don't know which is which. Other than that, I really don't have much to complain about!

Belly button in or out? In!

Happy or moody most of the time: I dont knowwwww. Probabaly moody. Yea, moody. Haha.

Looking forward to: Actually being able to tell I am pregnant! Or, being able to feel the first flutters. I cant waitttt.
