HOW TO CONTOUR LIKE A BOSS PT 2

Hiiii guuuuuys. I'm back again with a new post. But, this time not so new. I posted wayyyyyyy back when my essential makeup step which is Contouring and Highlighting. Check that out here. Since that post has blew the heck up I thought, why not do an updated one? Thats oooold news. Still check that post out though, because the technique is still the same, just the products are different. I think these products make allllllll the difference. So lets get started :)

Heres an exerpt from the 1st post---

"This is my girl Kim K... As you all know I'm obsessed but we can save that to talk about for a different day.... She has the perfect cheekbones, the tiniest nose, the best jawline....... Are you not so jealous?!? Well, I have got great news for you.. You can have it too! Noooooo I'm not talking plastic surgery.. With makeup! Its called contouring and highlighting! For all of us that weren't born with those perfect features this is for you... Contouring is when you take darker colors to create a shadow to take away the look of an imperfection you might want to cover up and you highlight the places of your face you really want to stand out! I can swear on Lolas life everyone in the magazines, red carpet anything are not so perfect-- they use this technique!"
I still think thats an amaziiiiiin explanation of contouring soooo why fix it if its not broke. Ya hurd?

What do I use?
Any matte brozer (no shimmer) two shades darker than your regular skin tone, A concelear to shades lighter than your skin tone, A setting powder, blush, highlight.

Enough talkin about it, lets be about it:
- Prime, prime, prime yo skin.
- Start out by taking your favorite foundation with a Beauty Blender all over dee faceee.
- Then, take any concealer, my favorite is Mac Prolong Wear, and do triangles under each eye, down the bridge of your nose, alittle on your forehead, your cupids bow, and your chin. Blend that in with the tip of the beauty blender.
- At this point, set everything with a powder. After all liquids are finished you always want to set it by pressing the powder into your skin. This keeps you looking matte and for the foundation/concealer to last. So, under the eyes I use Anastasia Beverly Hills powder from her contour kit in Bannana, this is a yellow based powder, so it will really brighten up your under eyes and help it from not creasing. Then, I take a translucent powder and set that all over the rest of the face.

 - Take my holy grail, NARS ITA BRUSH, dajkdjakd, with Fawn, from the contour kit, and make a fish face-- I swear I am not crazy-- go right where it sucks in to start contouring under your cheekbone. Blend that all out, then take it up your forehead, down each side of your nose, and the jawline. Dont forget to blend, blend, blend.

- Use your favorite blush.
- Highlight with any highlighter, my favorite is Stilas Kitten Duo, on the tops of your cheekbones all the way above your brow in a c-shape. Alittle on the tip of your nose, then your cupids bow, and chin. This helps really highlight the areas that the light would normally hit.
- Finish your makeup and BAM. Kim K status.

Highlighting & Contouring tips and tricks:
Say, maybe, you dont like youre forehead, its way to big, take the contour shade, and shade the top and sides of your forehead pretty low, then, highlight as little as possible. Say, youre forehead is to small, dont contour as much and really bring that highlight up.

Now girl if you got a broad nose, you need to contour that big time, you can make your nose legit look like you got plastic surgery not kidding. Maybe I should do a post all about that--- let me know in the comments if youre interested-- But, if you have a broader nose, take the contour shade and make two lines very slim and narrow then highlight a very thin line down the nose and blenddddd.. This will mimic a tiny nose.

If you have a double chin, like I think I do sometimes, contour your jawline and bring it down this will make a shadow that will kick that double chin right in the behind.

I hope this helped everyone! Ill be back in a few days with a Fall Makeup Tutorial! Keep on the lookoutttt 0 o

Monday Must Haves!

Monday morning, rain is fallin'.
Steal some covers, share some skin.

Or in my case, I wish, Netflix.
Today is a gloomy day in New York and the last thing I wanted to be doing was.... Working.
But, ya know, money is cool and all. But so isnt Netflix and Heluva Good.
I hate Mondays.. and the rain...... and the cold..... and working.....
So, I got to thinkin' what would be better on this crappy day then to make a post about my Monday MUST Haves! These are going to be my must haves from Beauty to Books to Movies to anything I really feel like.
Ya picking up what im putting down?!?

My first must have is, Mac Angel! It is like theeee perfect lipstick.. Not kidding. If you love a good pinky nude (which ya should) this is for you. I wear it legitametly probabaly everyday. I just switch out the glosses or layer lipsticks on top and it transforms to anything. It always looks different. But, even on its own its the best.net.

Second has been my Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Palette!
UGHHHHHHHHHHHH TO DIE FOR. If you dont contour, actually don't have this palette, I feel bad for you. So, its $40 for 6 different shades, 3 bronzers, 3 highlights.. In all honesty that is an amazing price. It gives you the exact look all the celebs are doing but at home! I could never get that yellow under eye Kim K has going on until I got this. You need it in your life. BTW-- Would you guys like to see an updated Contour tutorial?!?! Let me know in the commments!

THIS BOOK!
#GirlBoss is my life. Written in a book. Except I was never homeless, or stole books and put them on Ebay. But other than that the writter, Sofia, Owner of NastyGal, is my alter ego.. It is such a fun book but really kicks your ass to get you moving in life. It made me reevaluate alot of things. But mostly that I just want to be her. This would be in my pic, but this one broad is borrowing it. (Youre welcome, Sam)

My Lorac Pro2 Palette. I cannot even put into words my love for the first. But, now the second?!? It is all the shadows I would wear everyday put into a palette. The clouds spread, a Will Ferrell type of god came down (If you havent seen the movie Superstar, I hate you) and said 'Here you are Emily, youre welcome.' Nectar and Cool Grey, I literally use every single day. Again, I know you all think I am crazy spending $42 on makeup but listen, there is 16 shades. 16 perfect shades. Lets say you are in rite aid, you seen an eyeshadow you love and its $5! Im sure most of you think thats a steal. But, even lets say its $3. If you buy 16 of them first of all, you will never get the use out of it like this palette, it will be chalky, it wont look as good, stay as long, etc. And 16 or $5 is $80. 16 for $3 is $48. Youre welcome:)

I cant find my exact ones on the website but these will work. They are sooo similar to mine just a bit different. I was about to say UGH again, but I will refrain. They are so comfy but so cute. Who can say anymore?! And not even that, but they go with everything!

Ardell False Lashes are my makeup weapon of choice. If you are feelin bad about yourself on some off day, maybe even today with this depressing rain, pop on these lashes no joke. You will feel like theeee boss. Not just a boss, but theeeeee definition of theeee boss. Your makeup just will look so much better like you tried so much harder. When ya really didnt. The demi-whispies are my favoriteeeee!

Last, but not least, is my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in radiant magenta. You legit cannot live without this. It makes you look like your lit from within. Like, HELLLOOOOOO, who doesnt want that?!!? I know I do...

What are your Monday Favorites?!?
But, more importantly, what are you doing on this sad, Monday?
Maybe a trip to Sephora would help your Monday Blues with all of these cool new recommendations!
Or just go home, eat some Lemonheads and watch Gossip Girl.
Whatever you doing, have a good day guys-- Talk to you Soon :)

#noheatsummer

The number one most asked question I get is 'How do I get my hair to grow?'
Well ladies, as much as I would love to be a magician (I think its better for man kind that) I am not. There is no magical way for your hair to grow. Every person is different. All hair grows at different rates. But, the one thing that is always true for long locks is in order for your hair to grow, you have to take good care of it. End of story.
I know you probably are like no way thats not true, but it is.
If you have unhealthy hair and split ends, your hair sure can get long, but it will just keep splitting.
Over the years, heat has been a huge issue with damaged hair..... You girls straightening your hair everyday aren't doing your hair any favors. I know you may think, I could never just jump out of the shower and have perfect hair.. But, you can.

To keep your hair healthy, and help it grow and since Summer is the perfect time I came up with a little game we could all play...........
I bet you, you can not go all summer without using any heat products.
That means, no straighteners, no blow dryers, no curling irons. Just let your natural hair breathe for a bit and your hair will grow. All of July and August until September 1, vow to take good care of your hair & during these months, I will show you different styles to use without heat, what products to help enhance your out of the shower locks, and some DIY masks to help with the summer heat!
I will be helping you find out that natural hair is cool too! Your hair will thank you;)

So day 1!
Starting tomorrow...
NO HEAT!
Who's with me?!?!?
Use the hashtag #noheatsummer !! Show me your natural locks! I would love to see 8)

SUNKISSED INSPIRED MAKEUP FOR MY GIRLS ITCHIN' FOR SPRING!

As you probably saw in my last post.. I am ITCHIN' for Spring. When I say I'm itching I am dying.... Literally-- Because all I want is warm weather and tonight there is supposed to be 12 to 16 inches of snow. FML! So while it is blizzarding outside for all I know (my shades are closed) I am thinking about makeup and hair for Spring and trying to beat this stupid Flappy Bird game. I mean, a girl can dream right? I mean for Flappy Bird because everyone knows I can never get past 10 -_- But, for Spring too :)

Heres what I used above to get this awesome flawless spring look!
Makeup Forever HD Foundation, NYC Sunny Bronzer, Benefit Brow Zing- Brunette, Benefit Sun Beam, Mac Mineralize Skinfinish- Soft and Gentle, Maybelline Bouncy Blush- Plum Wine, Naked Basics Palette, Stila Eyeshadow- Kitten, Anasatasia Dual Ended Highlighter, NYX Wonder Pencil, NYX Black Liner, Two Faced Lash Injection, Mac Creme D'Nude, NYX Creme Brûlée

1) I used a damp beauty blender to apply her foundation.
2) I used my bronzer with a big fluffy brush to contour and really warm up the areas of the face that normally the sun would hit. I used a fluffy brush because I wanted it to look very natural.
3) Next, I took a stippling brush and my bouncy blush and dabbed it on her cheekbones, on her nose, her temples, and her chin.. Really where if you got a sunburn thats where you would get it. With this look I really wanted her to look like she's been sun kissed even if its the middle of winter!
4) Then I took Sun Beam and applied it right above her cheekbones, her cupids bow and her chin.
5) I applied Kitten all over her lid.
6) I took my Naked Basics palette and started off with Naked 2 and put it all in her crease, then took Faint and really concentrated it to her outer v. Blend blend blend! We don't want any harsh lines!
7) I took my Highlighter and put it under the brow, in the inner corner of the eye and underneath the lash line. I took my NYX Wonder Pencil which is a nude liner and lined her waterline. Then I took my black liner and lined her upper waterline on the top lashes.
8) We put mascara on her lashes:)
ps. Don't forget to fill your brows!

9) I used Creme D'Nude all over her lips and topped it with Creme Brûlée.
10) Last but very not least, I grabbed Sun Beam again and put it right in the middle of the lip and the middle of the top lip and dabbed it with my ring finger really to make her lips look fuller and plump! Then you're done!!

Check out how to get beach hair as well! Then you will be all set! In the middle of a blizzard heheh:)
What is all your favorite ways to cope in the middle of a snow storm?
Comment Bellloooooow, Id love to hear it!
Maybe soon I will actually want to do a Winter Look since you know it is in fact Winter---
Let me know if you all would like to see some dark lips for these cold groggy days!

Most common beauty mistakes!

Hiiiiiiiii my friends! I thought today we can talk about my biggest pet peeves...... You know you are all getting to know me so I thought, WHY NOT! I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate when girls wear bronzer all over their face like its foundation. Im sorry I know its rude of me. BUT I HATE IT. Bronzer isn't meant to change the color of your skin girlfriend! So instead of thinking in my head why, why, why, why and why I thought, maybe I can help. Just maybe... Honestly, if I am offending anyone I am sorry it is just my opinion! I really think that makeup should never camouflage anything-- unless its a pimple. Makeup should enhance everything you already have goin' on. Girls, as much as I am a common offender, the duck face doesn't help either.

With my friend Sams help, I put together one side that is all COMMON mistakes us girls make when doing our makeup, then, how it should look to really flatter your features. What makeup should do!

Honestly, take a look at both of these. The right side looks so much better!

First things first, that BRONZER THOOOO! You can't.. You just can't have your face look muddy and not match your face. I see offenders of this crime allllll the time. Like I said earlier, bronzer isn't meant to make you darker.. It is supposed to bring sun to your face or to use as a shadow.

The same thing goes to foundation. Really try to match it to your face. I understand girls I feel the same way "I want to be a little tanner so I will put on a little darker foundation noone will tell" But it is a huge difference I swear. Just put the same color foundation on and just use a tiny bit of bronzer it will look loads better!

Blush is meant to be natural as well.. I like to put it right above my contour color and stop right before the pupil of the eye. Find a color thats really good for your skin tone. Not to light or dark! Make sure you put it right above the contour because if not it really brings down your cheeks. If you put it in the right spot your cheek bones look massively high.

Highlight and contour! It really helps to bring life into your face. Highlight down the bridge of your nose, up like a tree to your forehead, above your cheekbones, your chin, your cupids bow and below your eyebrow!

Fill in those brows--- Arch those babies. In my opinion a good shaped brow brings the eye all together.

Eyeshadow really needs to have some dimension to it. You cannot just slop on a silver and walk out the door. Always use a base color, highlight and a crease color unless its going to look super flat! By having the winged liner it really expands the eye to make it look bigger!

Black eyeliner in the waterline really makes the eye so much smaller! Its so harsh for everyday as well. By using a nude in your waterline it really brightens up everything and looks 10x bigger.

DONT CLUMP YOUR MASCARA! It honestly is not cute! Ever! I love mascara as much as the next person but really less is more. I think two coats is great and out the door. If you want more volume than two coats pop on some lashes.

Putting lip liner over your natural lip does not make your lips look bigger. Im sorry. But, you can use a lip plumper:)

Last but definitely not least just really make sure your neck and your face match.. If they don't, blend blend and blend!

I hope these beauty mishaps really helped you! Maybe even made you laugh a bit-- Let me know if you all have other beauty donts:)

3 QUICK&EASY HAIRSTYLES WHEN YOURE RUNNIN' LATE!

Helloooooo everyone! Most of you know, I am not a morning person and when I say I'm not... Like I really HATE mornings. I will do the least amount of effort so I can push snooze and sleep until I have no time to get ready. It happens every single morning. What can I say I like to sleep?? So over the years of me being a lazy bum I figured out good ways to be able to sleep long and look cute! Who woulda thought??!?! Dry Shampoo is a savior I am telling you.. Check out my post here.

So the first hairstyle is a cool braid. Its super simple to do.. You start out with day old hair.. In this case its curled but it could be straight.. Start braiding each part of your hair from your part to like two inches above your ear on each side. Secure it with a hair elastic. If you like to tease your hair I would do it now! Pull each piece of the braid out like in the picture, to make the braid fuller. Then, wrap one braid around your head and bobby pin it. Do the same with the other side but tuck the part thats sticking out under the other braid.  Then VOILA! Cute hair that looks like you spent all day.

Next is a side bun! This is super cute all the time. I love buns... -_- I love hair buns. Its sooo easy. So you take all of your hair to one side of your head. Use a brush to really make sure its smooth but not to smooth. Then literally just bunch up all of your hair into a bun right behind your ear and it might take a few pony tails to get all the stray hairs exactly where you want but thats all you do! With some nice dangly earrings this would be so 'fetch' ;)

Lastly this is a really messy cute pony. First you put on a headband, any would be fine. Then tease your crown. Put it in a pony but make sure its loose. Then take pieces from the top of the pony and pull them to make sure its higher. Then tease the pony and you are set!

Send me some of you doing these looks on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram! I would love to see it!!
I hope this helps all my ladies get some more beauty rest;)

I bet you $10 you can have hair like Lana Del Rey.....

Elllooooo!! So yesterday was Lanas' makeup now today is HAIR! I love these loose effortless waves to dress up or to wear with a oversized t and skinny jeans. Its super versatile and honestly, everyone and their mother can do it. Who doesn't love a hairstyle that takes 10 minutes??? I do! If I had long hair again this would be my everyday look. But lets stop dreamin' cause I don't.

A teasing brush
1 inch curling iron
Brush
Smoothing Serum

1) First things first, start off by taking hair in sections and teasing your hair. If you were born with naturally voluminous hair I hate you-- But you can skip this step ;)

2) Start curling your hair with a 1 inch curling iron all away from your face.

3) By this step your hair looks like your Susy Q and I understand thats not cute but hold on! Have faith in me!

4) Brush through your hair with a wide tooth comb or a paddle brush.

5 and 6) Put some smoothing serum on your fingers and emulsify it by rubbing your fingers together and finger comb it through the bottom half of your hair.

Tell me thats not easy! Try it out ladies!!!!

Lana Del Rey Inspired Makeup Look

Hiiii girlfriends!! So you can't judge me but, I get weirdly addicted to things.. Like its not a full on obsession but its like a few weeks then I jump to something different and obsess over that.. Its like a food chain. First, it was Vampire Diaries, then it was YouTube, then it was Tositos Salsa and now I am kinda obsessed with Pinterest..... I tried to give up Facebook and Twitter so now when I'm bored I just scroll through the Beauty section. I could waste hours pinning am I the only one??? I will literally sit down for one second and BAM three hours pass by from me just literally looking at hair and makeup... While I was wasting away my morning the other day, I stumbled on this amaaaazing picture of Lana Del Rey. Its gorgeous and the first thing I thought was I HAVE TO RECREATE THIS! So here goes nothin'..

Tools:
Naked Basics Palette
Black Liquid Liner
Nude Eye Liner
Mascara
Nude Lipstick

1) First things first I used my favorite foundation and I evened out her playing field making sure I got her eyelids and highlighted and contoured her face! If you don't know how to do this check it out here.

2) I used my Naked Basics palette and patted 'Foxy' all over her lid with a flat shader brush.

3) Then I took 'Naked 2' in windshield wiper motions all in her crease with a domed crease brush.

3) I took 'Faint' and really concentrated that in the outer part of the crease with a big fluffy blending brush. Afterwards, I blended everything out with a clean brush-- Making sure to be no hard lines.

4) I used my Black Makeup Forever Aqua Liner with a liner brush and lined the lid making a wing at the end going almost to the end of her brow. (If you would like a tutorial on this let me know!)

5) I took 'Faint' again with a smudge brush and 'smudged' it all along my bottom lash line. This isn't shown but after that I took my NYX Wonder Pencil and lined her bottom waterline.

6) I used mascara on her top and bottom lashes!

7) I filled in her eyebrows and then started contouring her nose to be small and tiny like Lana's. I took 'Naked 2' with my shader brush making a very straight line going up to the dip of her eye. Then took my blending brush to blend it all out.

8) Put on Revlons Nude Attitude and she mine as well be Lana ;)

I had soooooo much fun recreating this timeless look! Let me know how it worked for you!! :) Comment below if you have any questions!!

HAIR LIKE YOUVE JUST GOT BACK FROM THE BEACH... OR YOURE JULIANNE HOUGH.

Hi Guys!! So before I chopped off my locks I had this similar cut as my sister below and I would style it everyday like the familiar 'Julianne Hough'. I would get so many questions on how to do it I can't even count on all my fingers... Or toes. With Spring right around the corner this is a fun style to mess around with and there is NO goofing it up! Its fool proof! The messier in my opinion the better.

Tools:
A straightener
A teasing comb/brush
Sea Salt Spray

1) Section your hair out in three ways bottom to top. Then, take the straightener, up right, going away from your face and turn the straightener 1 1/2 times trying to leave your ends out a bit. Work in small sections. When you get to the last section on the top of your head do the same technique but only turn the straighter 1 time making a looser curl... This helps because like Juliannes hair the underneath sticks for a messy look!

2) Tease your crown area for some volume with any teasing brush going in downward motions.

3) Put your head upside down and spray some Sea Salt Spray.

4) SCRUNCH SCRUNCH SCRUNCH

5) Flip your head back and voila just got back from the beach!

This is great for shorter length girls but you could also do this with longer hair!
Just adjust how many times you curl the straightener:)

If you have any questions comment below!

Beauty Dictionary: Face Brushes!

Hi Ladies!! I am back with a new series called 'Beauty Dictionary'. I will be answering some of your beauty issues that you never knew the answers to! Today I am doing Face Brushes.. I get a lot of questions about which brush to use when and why. I thought maybe bringing all my favorite brushes in together and explaining them to you for example: when you use them, what part of the face, cream/powder, etc. etc. would be a lot easier to understand. Honestly, different brushes can change the look of any foundation. Brushes are essential in your beauty routine. There is no reason to use your fingers now a days or disposable sponges-- It is 2014 and brushes make your makeup look 100,921,098x better! With that said-- LETS TALK BRUSHES:)

From the top left to right to the bottom:

Real Techniques Powder Brush- This is my favorite for bronzing and to set my powder. You can find this at Ulta. I use this just for an overall bronzing not to be confused with contouring.. So when I just want some color I will sweep this in 3 and E motions on each side of my face where the sun would naturally hit..

Sonia Kashuk Double Ended Foundation Brush- I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS BRUSH! I have had it for like 3 years and I wouldn't know what to do without it. I use the foundation end for my fuller coverage foundations.. It is pretty dense and with a dense brush you are going to get a thicker application. I just think it makes my foundation awesome! You all know my obsession with my Beauty Blender-- if not you can read here-- one end is like a sponge material like my BB but you don't get this wet or anything like that.. I use this side to just blend out around my nose and eye area just so you can't see any strokes or anything from the brush. You can find this at target!

Mac 168 Large Angled Contour Brush-- I love this brush for contouring because with the angle shape I fee like it just fits right in the dip of your cheekbone. If you don't know how to contour check out my post. This will help a lot more with how this brush!

Sephora Pro Flawless Airbrush #56-- This is just a recent love of mine but I think it will be an essential for a long time in my kit. I use this for my foundation on a more everyday basis. It really provides a natural-airbrushed look to your foundation. I pat my foundation on my face then buff it out in circular motions with this brush and it looks faaaaaaaab;)

Real Techniques Stippling Brush-- I use this to blend out my contour and blush to make sure there is no hard lines! I also used to use this a lot for my foundation.. This is a very multipurpose brush! You can also use it to dab on your highlight right above your cheekbone-- Or to use a cream blush for a real flushed look. You can also get this at Ulta.

Sigma F25 Tapered Face Brush-- I use this for my powder blushes! I think its not a dense brush so it really makes my blush light and natural.

Sigma P86 Precision Tapered-- I love this for my concealer.. What I do is with my ring finger is tap the concealer where need be and buff it out with this brush. With the tapered head it really gets into all of the hard to get areas you couldn't get with a regular foundation brush. Its dense so it adds a lot more coverage-- which I need if I am using a concealer.

Nars Ita-- TELL ME THIS DOESNT JUST FASCINATE YOU! Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I am in love. I use this for nights out when I want a strong contour. Its not that dense but it really makes that sharp, clean line you are looking for when contouring. I first apply the bronzer with Ita upright to make a sharp line then take the brush sideways to buff it all out. Its amazing. Just believe me when I say this. You can also use this for highlighting as well!

Elf Kabuki Face Brush-- This kabuki brush has been my favorite for a long long long long time. It has withheld every punch and throw its gotten. It will never die I swear to you. I use this for bronzing and to set my powder.. Also to bronze my body! For a meer $5 YOU NEED THIS!

So lets recap-- A dense brush gives more coverage, a less dense brush is for a lighter coverage! I hope this helped a bit! Let me know in the comments or on social medias which brushes you like the most! :)

Elf and Sonia Kashuk can be found at Target!
Real Techniques you can get at Ulta.
Sephora and Nars Brushes you can get at Sephora.
Mac brushes are available only at Mac!
Sigma brushes are found on their website.

How to Contour like a BOSS!

This is my girl Kim K... I can swear on Lolas life everyone in the magazines, red carpet anything are not so perfect-- they use this technique!

1. First use your favorite foundation with your beauty blender!
2. CONTOUR with any matte bronzer with NO shimmer whatsoever under your cheek bones, around the forehead, down your nose and your jawline with your angled brush.
3. HIGHLIGHT with any concealer a few shades lighter than your regular color down the bridge of your nose all the way up your forehead in a tree motion, under your eyes to brighten them up, underneath the contour of your cheek bones and your chin, below the brow and inner corner of the eye and upper lip to make it pouty!
------At this point if you look like a clown you're doing it right------
4. Blend it all out with your stippling brush and beauty blender.. Blend, blend, blend.. If you think its done, blend more. This may seem like to much but if you do not blend it will look crazyyyy.
5. Apply blush right above the contour then use your stippling brush to blend it all out with the contour.
6. Above your blush use a highlighter with a very light hand above your blush with your stippling brush and right in your cupids bow with your fingers. This will give you the dewey look Kim has.
7. Apply a translucent powder all over the face to set all the hard work you just did.
8. Finish your makeup and your good to go :)

So in more detail:
If you have a bigger nose than you would like use the matte bronzer and really concentrate in straight lines very close to the bridge and highlight very minimal.

A bigger forehead you would bronze way more down the forehead and minimal highlighting.

If you have a big chin or a double chin really focus the bronzer on the jaw line and up more up the chin then not much highlighting..

For people that have a circular/round face to make it more oval bronze all the perimeter of your face.

If you are more of a get up and go kinda gal I understand this may seem like a lot of work and I totally get it... It takes a lot of time and a lot of practice! This may not make any sense to you but once you try it on your self you will see such a difference... If you have any questions on how to do it on your face let me know in the comments or find me on social media :)

Get the Look: Selena Gomez Makeup

Hellloooo Girlfriends--- I'm sorry I have been a bit MIA! The holidays have been crazy for me! But IM BACK:) How was everyones Christmas?!?!? So I was thinking this Selena hair and makeup would be awesome for NYE & I wanted to get it up before then but! I plan to do some more New Years Eve looks so keep your eyes peeled and let me know if you all like these 'Celeb Get the Look' Blogs in the comments... Here goes nothin!

Tools:
Your Favorite Foundation
Your fave Mascara

1) First things first I used a foundation with my beauty blender for an 'airbrushed' effect. Then I filled in her brows with Anastasia Brow Duo and contoured&highlighted her face (I will have a tutorial on that coming soon) with NYC Sunny Bronzer and Nars Concealer and used the NYX Blush--  Dusty Rose.

2) On to the eyes!

- First with a flat shader brush I dusted 'Taupe' over her entire lid.

-Then I put 'Lt Bronze' on the center of the eye and really focused it right in the middle with the same brush.

-Put 'Sable' into her crease and outer corner with a big fluffy crease brush and made sure to blend out all the harsh lines with a clean brush.

-Mix 'Gold' and 'Champagne' and really concentrate on the inner tear duct and bring it down about half way on the lash line. Then, took just 'Champagne' and put that under the brow to really make the brow POP.

-To deepen the look I took 'Deep Purple' and concentrated it in the outer v of the eye and smudge it with a pencil brush underneath the bottom lash line to meet the color we did earlier. Then took 'Pewter' and blended everything out!

3) Then lined her upper and lower water line with Nars Eyeliner and used Kat Von D Tattoo Liner to line the eye and winged it out! Then finish it off with your favorite mascara!

4) Now to my favorite part I lined her lips with a red liner and used NYX Matte Lipstick first.. Then I put some Maybelline Whispers to gloss it up a bit and add some pink!

Then you're all set with your Selena Hair and Makeup!!! This was soooo fun to recreate and I hope you all have fun trying it out as well :) Check out my instagram for updates on my blog!! EmilyAugustinex

Get the Look: Selena Gomez Hair!

Hi Everyone!! I have a question-- Do you love Selena!??!?!?! Or at least her hair!? I do! All the girls in my chair always complain about not having texture, grit, meat and vegetables for their hair... If you catch my drift, so I thought I'd help everyone in 4 simple steps! This is a great style if you wanna funk it up for the holidays or New Years! Have fun with itttt; Messy hair is the best hair!

Tools:
1. A curling wand-- 1/2 inch
2. Straightener
3. Redken Wool Shake (You can get here)
4. Teasing Comb
5. Hairspray

Steps:
1. Taking little sections curl the hair away from the face with the curling wand making sure to keep the ends out.
2. Once curled the entire head, take pieces and start straightening them and curling random ends under.
3. Put head upside down and spray Wool Shake. Then, scrunch hair with your hands.. Mess it up!
5. With your teasing comb start teasing random sections just to frizz it a bit.. Give it a little texture.
6. Hairspray and your great to go!

A big thank you to Sam for helpin' :) Keep a lookout for the makeup for this look!
