If I was stuck on a desert island and could only bring one thing.........

A few months ago, I wandered into the Buffalo Mac counter and my whole entire life changed... Ok, I am exaggerating a little bit. But I swear just a little! I have been seeing this little gem on YouTube and many other girls blogs for a while now and I never believed that it was that great.. Like honestly, what was all the fuss about?!? So on that day, March the 3rd, 2014... Jk I don't know the exact date.... I realized that all the hype for Macs Fix + was true... It really was THAT amazing. And so worth the 20 something dollars! I can not imagine my life without it. I swear to the lord.

Per the Mac website:
An aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, infused with a calm the skin blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, topped off with the fresh, natural, energizing scent of Sugi. Adds radiance, finishes makeup. Spray it on. Skin drinks it up!

AND ITS $21! Cant beat that.

Fix + is literally the answer to all my makeup problems.. If I was stuck on a desert island and could only pick one product I would honestly pick this. You know when you buy eye shadows from the drugstore and they never look as amazing on your lid as they do in the package? They are never pigmented and always chalky looking. Spray Fix+ on your brush then dip into the powder and apply and BAM! Expensive looking eyeshadow that stays all day! Without the price tag.. Who woulda thunk.

All of the colors on the left are without Fix+ and the one following is with it. You can tell a huge difference!

Its also amazing for when you do all your foundation think you look amaze balls then set the powder so it will last all day for my oily girls and you look like a cake ball and it looks nowhere near natural. We have all been there. Even if you are just wearing a full coverage foundation it can look crazy cake. After you are finished, mist it on arms length away and its crazy the difference.

Other uses:
When you are all done with your makeup it is also great for setting all of your hard work to last ages!
When you need a pick me up on hot summer days just spritz this and your face will drink it right on up.
You know those really glittery shadows that the second you pick up it falls all over your face? If you spray this on your brush it picks up the glitter and acts like a bonding agent to your lid!
If your foundation is thick spray some of this onto a small bowl with your foundation and it will lighten it up.

NOW GO BUY IT! IT WILL SAVE WORLD HUNGER!

........but really go buy it, you won't be sorry ;)

DIY: Prom Makeup!

Hey girls! Prom is right around the corner and I know at least when I was in high school, prom makeup and hair is a pain in the rear. You literally spend so much money and time on it because you will be looking back on these pictures forever! I literally think I wore eyeliner foundation and some bronzer.. Thats it lol.

I told you so, lol. But, I can help you save a few bucks and look beautiful for your big day!

For prom, you really don't want to do anything crazy. Like I said before you are going to be looking at these pictures forever and you want something timeless and classy. But if you want to rock a black smoky eye and some red lips you do it girlfriend!

First, start out with a contoured face. This is a crucial step because it will make you look that much better on camera. Read my post on how to contour here!
Do your brows! Don't forget this because.. well... look at my brows in the pics. Doing your brows makes the entire face come together.
Then, take your favorite blush. I would go with a more neutral color. I used Macs 'Melba'. Don't forget to highlight! Go right above your cheekbone and above the arch of your brow.

Now for eyes! I used the Naked Palette. First, spray your brush with some Fix +.. This will help the shadow look more foiled looking and more pigmented and shiny. If you don't have it (which I suggest you go run to your nearest mac or online) a few drops of Visine will do the trick as well.  I took the color Half Baked and put this all over her lid. Then took Naked into her crease and Buck into the outer half of the crease and outer v! If you want to use tape or a business card to line up the end of your bottom lash line angled up to your brow this will give it a much more clean look! Just don't forget to blend, blend, blend!!! And blend some more! Then, I took Virgin into her inner corner and under her brow bone and under the lash line. The outer part of her bottom lash line I used Buck and really blended that into Virgin. But kept the first half of the lash line really bright just smoked it out towards the end! Then, blend, blend and blend! I used some liquid liner on the top. Find out an easy way how to do that here! Afterwards I used a black liner in her waterline and finished with mascara.

For lips, I used Macs Myth which is a nude lipstick, with a little bit of pink and took Buxoms White Russian which is MY FAVORITE lipgloss right now. Its nude, but not to nude. With yet again a bit of pink-- and its a lip plumper! Win! Spray some Fix + all over one more time and you are good to go!

This a fool proof makeup look that will last all night. Just don't forget primers. Face and eye-- and set everything with powder! Let me know if you want a full review of Macs Fix +! Its a god send. Have a good Sunday guys :) Ill try to do a DIY Prom hair as well! Be on the lookout 0_0

TIPS FOR GETTING THE PERFECT WINGED LINER! ♥

I am obsessed with winged eyeliners right now. Even if I am being so lazy, put on a wing, some gloss and you look like a babe. It is literally my go-to look. Although, it legit has taken me MONTHS to perfect it and I still mess up every now and then. Am I the only one? I have to have many Q-tips handy every time even if it looks fine I get so obsessed with making it perfect. Its ridiculous. You're life is pretty much together if you can make both your wings even every time. I give you huuuuge kudos! While messing up like I said for leap years, I learned some tips along the way to make it easier on us less fortunate gals.

To keep a steady hand, lean your elbow on your table & keep the mirror below you so you are looking down at it.
Alright, so starting at the middle of your eye start making tiny strokes. SMALL STROKES IS KEY!
Then, go towards the inside very thin because you want the outside to be thick.
Go over the tiny strokes and connect them making one fluid line.
I recommend to follow the bottom lash line to make they wing because it really elongates the eye.
So bring the line and angle it out towards the end of your brow (that way you can make sure both of them match) Then, take the end of the line and connect it towards the outer part of your eye. Use small strokes but then go over it to smooth it all out.

To really get the wing effect, take the Q-Tips that have the pointed end, wet it, then go right along the bottom of the wing and clean up the line. If you still can't get the wings to line up you can also use tape! What you say? Yes, tape. I use this sometimes to make my eyeshadows perfect too. So take the tape, slap it on the backside of your hand just to make sure its not to sticky. Then, take it and go from the lower lash line to your brow and thats right where you want to put the tape. Follow the line, take the tape off and there you go! A perfect, even line! Ive also heard about using a spoon. But idk how that would work out. I like to strictly use my spoons for cookie dough ice cream. But, thats just me........

Winged eyeliners literally go amazing with anything. You can put it over a nice everyday eye, or a smokey eye. Or no eyeshadow at all. It will always look amazing. A winged eyeliner and a red lip is a great quick vintage look! But, a nice nude lip is cool too:) Let me know if you want to see a pic by pic tutorial of this! I hope I helped! Xoxo
