Pretty Little Liars: Get the Look Part 2!

Hey Girls!

Next on my Pretty Little Liars venture is Emily Fields!

She's always crazy laid back.. No makeup, natural hair.. But, I found a picture of her with a smokey eye and a pinker lip so I thought I would recreate it and show you somethin' fun Emily would do. My friend Alexis ironically looks a lot like her and is a makeup artist as well. So we combined forces! Find out how Alexis and I got Emilys Look in the video below! 1) First we did the basics. She primed her face and applied her favorite foundation, highlighted and contoured like in my post here. Then applied her blush and highlight.
2) Then she primed her eyes and started off with the color Champagne from the Lorac Pro Palette all over her lid, took the color Mauve in her crease and Espresso in the outer V. Make sure to blend blend blend!
3) She took her eyeliner and lined her top and bottom and smudged it all out with a pencil brush to get a nice smokey look. Apply mascara and lips and you're set!

For hair, we took a 1 1/2 inch curling iron and just wrapped the hair around the barrel keeping the ends out a little bit. Then, took spray wax and sprayed it randomly to give texture to make it look very natural like Emilys!

Makeup Products to Beat the Heat!

I don't know about you all but, I LOVE SUMMER.

Every single thing about it. I love the beach. Im a freak about laying out in the sun. I love tan lines.

I love the sun setting later. I feel like everything is just better in the Summer... 

Except makeup. Go figure my favorite time of the year is the worst for makeup. Your face is oily and sweaty. Makeup just rolls right off of your skin. I don't know about you but if I have a full coverage face on I feel disgusting. In Winter, I am all about the full face pack that right on. But no way, no how can I deal in hot weather. Most of the time I don't even wear makeup but, when I do these few products are it! 

I will have a disclaimer-- Some of these products are a bit pricy. When dealing with long wearing makeup you get what you pay for. There are a few drugstore things I love but these are my absolute go to! 

My makeup routine literally only is these products in the summer. 

I start out with Nars Tinted Moisturizer. This stuff is like your skin but better. It doesn't feel like anythings on your skin but still masks any discoloration or imperfections ya might have going on. Then I use Soleil Tan De Chanel with a big fluffy brush. This is a light creme bronzer and it is perfect for the summer to just do 3s and Es on your face and your good to go. You can even contour with this for a night out if you want! Its super light and again feels like your wearing nothing. But pricy! Then highlight your cheek bones up to your arch of the brow with Benefits Sun Beam for a nice glowy look. 

After your done with all cremes, powder! 

I like really clean looking eyes in the Spring and Summer so by using Tartes EmphasEYES in my waterline it just brightens up my eyes and makes them pop! Then follow up with your favorite mascara. I like Tartes Lights Camera Splashes, I loved the original one then they came out with waterproof and I could die and be okay now. Its amazing, no smudging and easy to come off! 

To bring everything together, some days I would wear just a nude gloss but to spice up my look, a matte bright pink lip stain is perfect. My favorite is by Revlon!

Get Ready with Maggie: Makeup for Fair Skin!

Hi friendssssss!
Coming from a fellow 'pale girl' I know the struggle of trying to wear makeup but looking fake. Sure its easy for a tan girl to slop on makeup but my fair skin girls can never find the right foundation color, can never wear bronzer because it looks muddy, can never find the perfect nude lip etc. etc. I feel you ladies! So I thought me and my friend Maggie would team up to help you in the video below! Check it out:) (It is great for girls on a budget as well... I didn't realize until it was over hehe)

In the video I used Loreal True Match they have like a bagillion colors so I can put on my dogs life that you will find one that is perfect for you!

For Bronzer I used NYC Sunny Bronzer. With bronzer you cannot forget that you want no shimmer! This is an awesome choice because it is lighter than most. The darker the bronzer the muddier it will look. It is very natural!

I used a coral lip in the video but an awesome nude for lighter girls is Revlons Lipstick in 001 Nude Attitude. It is the bees knees. Im obsessed. You probably already know this though :X
I hope this helped my pale girls! I know its tricky to find perfect colors for your skin but just remember keep playing with colors and only shop at stores that are good with returns;)

Friday Favorites!

HIIIIIIIIIII! 

I'm sorry everyone for the lack of posts this week but I have been super busy. Luckily for you it has to do a lot with my blog so you will see shortly;) But, since I have nothing in my back pocket to talk about I thought I would share some things I have been obsessed with lately! Hair, to makeup, to clothes to... Whatever I feel like bloggin. 

Ya feel me? 

So recently, I have been obsessed with Kohls. I know, I know, who goes to Kohls anymore. Well I DO! They have amazing deals alwaysssssss. Especially if you have a Kohls Charge Card (which I wouldn't get if I were you bc its amazing) you get even more coupons! The other day I bought 2 of these shirts one in Coral and one in Black. They are just so simple and you can wear it with anything and it looks pretty classy without trying to hard (which is my fav) and they were like $10 with the coupon I had.. You cannot beat that. 

Again from Kohls, the Lauren Conrad section is to die for.... I got these plain black skinny pants. They almost literally are like leggings. They feel like leggings. Actually they feel like pjs.. But they are thicker material and look like dress pants. I LOVE THEM. If you like PJs you need to get them.

Next this Maybelline blush is literally almost gone I love it so much. Its the perfect pink and usually I'm a matte blush kinda girl but this just gives the best glow to your skin. This blush is almost like a sheen. Its so affordable which is always good as well.

This quote has been all over Pinterest and has turned into literally the most true statement to me. And ok, because its by my people might make me love it a little more. It has definitely been a favorite!

Another drugstore love lately, (WHO AM I TURNING INTO) is the Loreal True Match.. You can get this at Target or Ulta too. I know I'm late on the band wagon but, I can't even. It is a matte full coverage foundation that I have literally never seen in a cheap foundation. I can get like 7-10 hour wear out of this bad boy too. PERFECTION! 

My favorite YouTuber lately has for sure been, Zoella. If you haven't seen her, you need to. She is literally the funniest most genuion person on this planet and I don't even know her. Another plus, is she's British!!! Im so jealous of her and her boyfriend Alfie too. I literally waste so much time tumbling on #Zalfie. Its pathetic. I wouldn't do it. You will get an imaginary Disney type relationship that is not real! Hahahahhaha--- She's amazing check her out! 

AND LASTLY BUT NOT DEFINITELY NOT LEAST, The Vampire Diaries.... The last episode, WTF?!?!?!??!?! I don't want to spoil it for any of you but, if you've seen it lets chat about it because I literally am depressed. Are you Stelena or Delena?!

Pretty Little Liars: Get the Look!! Part 1!

Im not sure about you girls but I am OBSESSED with Pretty Little Liars.. Its getting to the point that I'm glad that theres a wait until next season because I am THAT pathetic. Haha. The girls hair, makeup and outfits are always on point. I thought I would replicate it for you guys! First, Im starting off with Spencer. She always is very natural and classy with her outfits.
